It felt just like a day at the beach filled with fun, family and friends and I am pretty sure that is exactly what they wanted.

After we finished the bride and groom wanted to go for a walk and said they would meet me back at the reception.  I was packing up my gear when I looked up and there they were dancing together in the sand.

Somewhere along the way we met up with grandparents who were leaving for their long drive home.   My wish for Liz and Jer is that in a few  years time (I don’t want to hazard a guess on how many), they will be together and just as sweet as these two!  Love and happiness to you both!

As soon as we plunked him down in the red Cobequid Bay sand he started to grab handfuls.  He kept getting  it closer and closer to his mouth and if it hadn’t started to rain, cutting short our shoot,  I am sure he would have had some for breakfast.  We snuck in a couple of shots of big brother Ben too.  He wasn’t thrilled to sit down in the wet sand,  so a special thanks to him for being a good sport.    Next time we get together we are going to try to capture the whole family!

Some people think she looks just like her big sister Gaia at the same age.  What do you think?

A talented bunch, all either graduates or one time students of University of King’s College.  One of them may or may not be related to me.

1.  They still have those fuzzy little bangs at their hairline where new hair is growing in.

2.  Lip gloss is a trap for hair; and/or cracker crumbs  (eaten while driving from location to location)

3.  They don’t necessarily take direction well 

4.  They obviously don’t need direction because they turn out super model poses I couldn’t have dreamed up.  Where do they see this stuff??

The shoot had two themes  – first up SUPER MODELS and then sweet little girls. They were both!  All that fun –   and   -  ice cream after!  Perfection!

Best friends – true friends of any kind – are what get you through.   So Kayla and Jessica – here’s hoping you truly stay BFF (and looking just as beautiful as you are today).

To paraphrase Sweet Baby James, I’d never really been there so I just had to go.  When the opportunity came up for a shoot at The Royal in the stunning Playa del Carmen I just couldn’t say no.  And now, I just wanna go back!
